Kristina Sky has just been recruited by Grooveriders, the LAST record shop standing, to be their Trance & Progressive Buyer.

This means she selects all things related to trance/progressive for the shop.

Grooveriders was opened by a man named Elmar, who most importantly is the first person to ever open up a dance music record store in Los Angeles.

Now, due to economy and due to U.S. distributors not having good taste in trance right now, and buying the wrong stock.. this has all harmed the physical community and has made going to a record store near impossible and uneventful.

Kristina really believes in this project. She doesn’t want Los Angeles to lose the last shop!!!

She is in the shop twice a week, on Sundays and Tuesday, breaking out the new tunes for the week and playing a few records in the shop herself.

She also organizes very unique in-store events with top notch DJs who pass through town, like Johan Gielen, 4 Strings, Blank & Jones, Kyau vs. Albert, Phynn, and the list goes on.
